		<description>For Immediate Release:

An American design initiative has released it’s poster design for the state of Oklahoma. The 50 States Design Project began in October 2011 with the intention of capturing the personality of all 50 states in poster form, and uploading them to the web for public viewing.

The Oklahoma entry paints Oklahoma as an authentic location. The design uses dark colors, a long grass motif, and combines it with a positive message about the state. The poster reads, “It’s more than just OK.” Project founder, Joshua Best says that, “it asks people to dig deeper, and see the real Oklahoma.”

Oklahoma is the sixteenth state to join the online gallery, and Best says, “It’s one of the most compelling, and intriguing designs completed thus far.” The project aims to release roughly one state poster per week for fifty weeks.
